MATERIALS LIST:
Required Materials: -- in order

First Week --
1 Portfolio, large -- can be improvised -- [Bought (or made)] optional
1 Roll of Masking tape 3/4"
1 Drawing Paper Pad 18" x 24" (if necessary -- Newsprint paper pad - smooth not rough)
1 or more Drawing Board(s) 19"x 25" or larger (can be improvised [$1 to $50])
1 Package 8 to 12 assorted hardness or medium, Vine charcoal
1 Package 6 (approximately) of Compressed Charcoal sticks
1 Gum Eraser -- large
1 White Castell Eraser, Magic or Mars Statler
1 Kneaded Eraser
1 optional - spray can of workable fixative, (outdoor use only)
1 Large sketchbook 11" x 14" or larger

Second Week --
1+ Graphite Sticks, soft or medium
1 Chamois skin, small (can be improvised with ultra suede)
3 Design Ebony Pencils
1 Drawing Paper Pad -- Bond or Layout paper, 18" x 24"
1 Metal Erasing Shield

Third Week --
2+ White Conté crayons
1 box of assorted brown and red Conté Crayons
1 Charcoal Pad, tinted paper

Estimated Materials expense: minimum $40, maximum $190, average $75 totals
